Try a photo with clearer separation between foreground and background. Heavy blur, low contrast, overlapping subjects, and subjects cut off by the frame can reduce detection quality.
The Subjects panel lists instances Apple Vision separates. Some nearby or overlapping people and objects are returned as one foreground group. This is expected and depends on the source photo.
Open Refine. Restore paints subject detail back; Erase removes unwanted areas. Pinch to zoom before using a smaller brush around hair, fur, or narrow gaps.
Use PNG for transparency. Some viewing apps display transparent pixels as white, but the alpha channel remains present. JPEG does not support transparency.
Save to Photos requests add-only access when you use it. You can instead use the share sheet without granting full Photo Library access.
Open the plans screen and choose Restore Purchases. Confirm the App Store uses the same Apple Account that made the purchase.
Include your iPhone or iPad model, iOS or iPadOS version, the source photo dimensions and orientation, export format, and exact error text. Please do not email a private photo unless you intend to share it.
